Tikal 3

Ahhhh, just awesome.

Tikal 2

This is a panny I built from 8 photos. But, photos really can't do
justice. I wish I could take photos with my eyes and transfer to you
via USB.

Tikal! Tikal!

What magical place. Tikal has sp much to see, you'll need a few days
to see it all. Getting here was a drag(11 hour busride from San
Salvador). If you decided to see Tikal, heres some insight. Guatemala
can be very dangerous to travel through, so travel with
caution. Either by bus or plane. Don't drive. The danger never hits
the press, it's kept quiet.
More pics coming up....

Staple diet

...yea, pretty much every day. Pupusas! I can't get enough of them. If
your not sure what they are, google it! Then go find a pupuseria and
order up a few.
Tomorrow we're heading for Guatemala for a few days. Tikal ruins will
be a target adventure.

Poof! There you go!

Here's a tribute to the strong work ethic and sheer handcraftmanship
within the Salvadoran spirit. I forgot to pick up a "mini-jack to XLR"
adapter for my wireless Lavalier mic before leaving NYC. Before
heading out on our first day of shooting, we went to "Electronica
Lemus" and Ulysis Lemus created one out of scrap audio parts. It
sounds great & now I can use 2 mics instead of one. I've named the
adapter "Ulysis de San Miguel".

The Fundraiser

On Saturday, August 2, 2008, the "Los Ultimos" fundraiser was held at
Eamonn's of Brooklyn Bar & Grill, Located in Tribeca. There was
approximatley 30 supporters and we raised $2000! To me, this is the
beginning of "Los Ultimos" & the beginning of Izote Media, to develop
more documentaries that tell the complex & simple stories that make up
the Salvadoran Culture.
I want to thank everyone who contributed, attended & supported this
historical documentary that will tell who were the indigenous people
of El Salvador.
